Cabling Containment Systems.

The objective of this module is to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of cable containment systems and their critical role in the delivery, operation, and ongoing resilience of mission-critical data centres.

By completing this module, learners will gain the knowledge to identify different types of containment, understand how they integrate with other core systems such as power and structured cabling, and recognise the safety, quality, and compliance standards that govern their installation.

The training is designed to bridge the gap between entry-level awareness and professional practice, giving learners the confidence to work on high-value, high-risk sites with clarity on their responsibilities.

It will highlight best practice in planning, installation, testing, and handover, as well as the professional behaviours expected from containment specialists.

Acronyms such as EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety), RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement), and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be explained to ensure learners not only understand the technical terminology but also how it applies in practical scenarios.

Ultimately, this module equips learners with both technical and behavioural competencies, helping them to deliver safe, compliant, and client-valued outcomes in every project.
